The Client:
A leading international investment bank is looking to hire an operational risk and controls professional to join their growing risk team and assist in the overall development of the risk & controls framework.
Located in Dublin, the role will offer a highly agile and flexible approach for candidates
The Opportunity:
- Work alongside the Senior Leadership team, helping to execute the operational risk and controls plan for the business
- Design, draft and ultimately implement policy changes as required across the business
- Directly support the Head of OP Risk in all regulatory issues and requirements
- Excellent exposure to Irish and European regulators

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide OP Risk support and knowledge across the business
- Carry out gap analysis across the business, implementing remediation controls as needed
- Work closely with the internal audit team, ensuring the OP risk framework is up to date and changes are implemented in a proper fashion
- Evaluates & mitigation of any OP Risk activities associated with new activities/transactions, existing and growing
activities. - Continuous risk assessment of the outsourced processes
The Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years experience across OP Risk and controls
- Strong knowledge of investments
- Demonstrated regulatory knowledge
- Academic qualification or willingness to become qualified an advantage
