The Role:
As a VAT Manager, you'll hold a pivotal position within our VAT tax team, contributing significantly to our ongoing growth and success. Your duties will involve providing expert VAT guidance to the Directors and Partners, nurturing client relationships, and leading a team of dedicated professionals. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with partners and directors to enhance firm's indirect tax service portfolio
• Offer strategic VAT advice and insights on tax structuring and advisory initiatives
• Serve as a liaison within the global network to address client inquiries
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, effectively delegating tasks
• Oversee a diverse client portfolio, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service
• Manage budgeting and ensure targets are met

The Person:

• Hold a Chartered Tax Advisor qualification with a minimum of 5 years' experience
• Preferably, possess a background in a Big 4/Top 10 firm or legal practice
• Demonstrate extensive expertise in VAT advisory and a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in client interactions
• Prove capability in prioritizing tasks and effectively managing time
