Phoenix Search presents a unique opportunity to join a prestigious global investment firm as a Senior Compliance Officer in Dublin. We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading player in the financial services industry known for its commitment to excellence and innovation.

Role Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the compliance efforts of their expanding business in Ireland and Europe. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer in Ireland, you will oversee European regional and global responsibilities, contributing to the success of the compliance team in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing day-to-day regulatory and governance requirements for all of their regulated entities in Ireland.
  • Providing compliance support for the AIFMD platform in Ireland, including onboarding new funds, oversight of third-party service providers, and regulatory compliance reporting.
  • Interacting with the INEDs in Ireland on AIFMD/MiFID compliance matters.
  • Offering real-time advice to the fund marketing and product strategy teams on regulatory and internal policy issues.
  • Maintaining regional policies, procedures, and advisory bulletins relevant to supporting the business.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the asset management sector, preferably within the alternative investment funds industry.
  • Strong experience with AIFMD and a good understanding of alternative investment funds and associated regulatory requirements.
  • Governance background with familiarity with the corporate governance code in Ireland.
  • Some experience with AML/KYC in Ireland, SFDR, Marketing, and Product Governance preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
