Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advise a diverse range of clients across multiple- sectors providing guidance and strategic direction in various aspects of tax management.
- Review tax clauses in contracts to ensure legal compliance and optimise tax efficiency.
- Provide expert guidance and insights on tax matters related to various transactions.
- Advise on often complex tax issues and devise comprehensive solutions for clients.
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to ensure timely, high-impact results. Manage project budget and assess ongoing progress.
- Calculate and assess tax liabilities, staying updated with changing tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Assist in the ongoing promotion and development of the brand, identify business development opportunities, assist in the preparation and delivery of client proposals and RFPs. Have a direct impact on the success of the firm’s overall success.
- Develop relationships with key internal stakeholders in the Tax Advisory division and across the wider organisation.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Professional qualifications- qualified solicitor or barrister, CTA, ACA, or similar advantageous.
- A minimum of 8 years experience in tax advisory or related roles with an appropriate breadth of tax expertise.
- Proven track record managing complex tax-related engagements and projects.
- Strong leadership skills, with prior experience in team management.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to present and influence clients
- Adaptable, solutions-focused, and motivated.
