Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advise a diverse range of clients across multiple- sectors providing guidance and strategic direction in various aspects of tax management.
  • Review tax clauses in contracts to ensure legal compliance and optimise tax efficiency. 
  • Provide expert guidance and insights on tax matters related to various transactions. 
  • Advise on often complex tax issues and devise comprehensive solutions for clients. 
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to ensure timely, high-impact results. Manage project budget and assess ongoing progress.
  • Calculate and assess tax liabilities, staying updated with changing tax laws and regulations. 
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships. 
  • Assist in the ongoing promotion and development of the brand, identify business development opportunities, assist in the preparation and delivery of client proposals and RFPs. Have a direct impact on the success of the firm’s overall success. 
  • Develop relationships with key internal stakeholders in the Tax Advisory division and across the wider organisation

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance or related field. 
  • Professional qualifications- qualified solicitor or barrister, CTA, ACA, or similar advantageous. 
  • A minimum of 8 years experience in tax advisory or related roles with an appropriate breadth of tax expertise. 
  • Proven track record managing complex tax-related engagements and projects.
  • Strong leadership skills, with prior experience in team management.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to present and influence clients
  • Adaptable, solutions-focused, and motivated.
