The Opportunity
Our client is a Top Tier law firm in Dublin which an excellent culture throughout the firm with very low attrition rates across its business lines. This role will sit with the Tax team who advise on the advise on the tax aspects of transactions as part of a multi-disciplinary team with lawyers.
Responsibilities
You'll have the chance to work on various matters and can specialize in your areas of expertise. The group's main areas of focus include:
- International tax and cross-border planning for corporate reorganizations, restructuring, and investments in Ireland.
- Capital markets and structured finance transactions.
- Investment banking and banking deals.
- Private equity transactions.
- Transfer pricing.
- Asset and project finance for global and domestic aircraft and equipment.
- Mergers, acquisitions, demergers, and initial public offerings (IPOs).
- VAT, indirect taxes, and advisory services.
- Real estate tax.
- Tax disputes and litigation.
Candidate Requirements
- 2-4 years PQE working in a law/accounting firm as a tax advisor / soilictor
- Demonstrates advanced technical expertise and robust business development skills.
- Committed to exceeding client expectations and adept at managing diverse workloads for delivering high-quality, commercially-oriented advice.
