Our highly regarded advisory client is currently looking for an Associate Director who has regulatory expertise to become part of their successful Finance team. The role will address the increasing demand from clients in the Financial Services sector. As an Associate Director in the Financial Services Finance team, your focus will be on Retail Banking, Capital Markets, or Insurance Finance, providing regulatory guidance to clients' Finance departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with colleagues from across the business and EMIEA on large-scale regulatory transformation programs to provide our clients with EY's best services.
  • You will also work with our clients to implement new or revised regulatory requirements, expand and deepen client relationships in the CFO domain, and participate in business development and marketing activities to grow the Financial Consulting team.
  • Additionally, you will assist management with preparing and delivering proposals for new opportunities, lead project teams, collaborate with other Consulting departments, and coach and develop junior staff members.

What you have to succeed:

  • You must have broad expertise in Finance, Risk, and Treasury
  • Specific knowledge of prudential regulation (e.g., CRD V/CRR II, Basel III/IV, SREP, BCBS 239),
  • Regulatory reporting (COREP, FINREP, LCR, etc.),
  • Other regulatory submissions (ICAAP, ILAAP, Stress testing/forecasting, SRB).
  • You must also possess strong communication and presentation skills to explain the impact of technical regulation on processes to stakeholders across the organization and be capable of managing multiple competing priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Experience:

  • Background in Finance, Risk/Regulation, or Treasury, with direct industry experience or consulting experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in regulatory change programs or regulatory reporting teams/processes (COREP, FINREP, LCR, ICAAP, ILAAP, Stress testing/forecasting, SRB, etc.).
  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Experience in delivering or being involved in large-scale regulatory change programs that have enabled you to develop your subject matter skills, technical skills, project management, and consulting skills.
