Phoenix Search has partnered with a Limerick-based financial services company to recruit a Payroll Specialist.   • Manage and coordinate the payroll process for multi-country clients, primarily in Europe, adhering to strict deadlines and ensuring high accuracy.
  • Gather, validate, and process payroll data, including salaries, deductions, and benefits.
  • Handle full payroll processing for Irish and UK clients, including registrations, calculations, and declarations.
  • Stay updated on global tax and labor regulations, ensuring compliance across all client payrolls, with a strong focus on Irish and UK regulations.
  • Collaborate with local in-country partners and internal teams to ensure smooth payroll processing.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Analyse payroll data and generate reports for clients and internal stakeholders. 
  • Assist in the expansion of client entities in various countries.
  • Participate in internal audits and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Experience with payroll software; experience with Brightpay is an advantage but not necessary
