Phoenix Search has partnered with an expanding enterprise in search of a meticulous and seasoned Payroll Specialist to integrate into their finance division. This individual will oversee global payroll functions and collaborate closely with our external payroll associates. As a pivotal member, the Payroll Specialist will uphold precision and timeliness in payroll procedures while staying abreast of local regulatory compliance. Notably recognised as the 'Best Place to Work,' this opportunity is based in Dublin city centre, offering a hybrid work model.

  • Manage the entirety of monthly global payroll operations
  • Work alongside external payroll service providers to uphold precision and meet payroll deadlines
  • Collaborate with HR to gather necessary data for payroll inputs
  • Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll, providing assistance as needed
  • Ensure adherence to local tax regulations, labour laws, and reporting standards
  • Partner with finance department to fulfil audit and reporting obligations
  • Spearhead initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency, implementing controls and automation
  • Guarantee punctual and precise payroll tax filings and submissions
  • Liaise with legal teams to tackle compliance issues
  • Compile and present managerial reports based on payroll data
  • Contribute to special projects as delegated by management.
