As the Manager within the International Indirect Tax Advisory division, your main role involves delivering advisory services to clients. Additionally, you'll need to identify, communicate, and offer guidance on relevant opportunities and risks pertinent to their client base worldwide.
- This role entails delivering advisory services on international indirect tax matters to clients, assisting them in managing transactions and business operations compliantly and efficiently within the indirect tax framework.
- Provide specialised guidance on a range of indirect tax issues to internal and external clients.
- Collaborate with the Indirect Tax Director to identify service offerings and opportunities, and engage internal resources to promote these to existing and potential clients.
- Participate in meetings and calls with clients to discuss complex technical aspects of indirect tax or advocate for the company's indirect tax services.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure smooth handover of relevant positions to the Indirect Tax Compliance team for accurate completion of tax returns.
- Act as the primary contact for specific key client accounts regarding indirect taxes, supporting the delivery of high-quality services.
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external clients to explore additional service opportunities and enhance the team's reputation.
- Assist in identifying and communicating legislative and policy changes affecting clients from an indirect tax perspective, disseminating information through various channels.
- Holds qualifications such as CTA and/or ACA (or equivalent).
- Possesses extensive experience in global-based international tax advisory.
- Demonstrates a track record of delivering a comprehensive range of core international tax matters for over 5 years.
- Capable of effectively handling high-pressure situations and working with minimal supervision.
