We are working with a specialist Advisory team who are looking for an experienced accountant to join their management team based in Dublin. This team work closely with large MNC's and PLC's to advise on the best practices for their finance teams.

The Opportunity

Our client is looking to hire a Manager who has experience working within a large public practice and/or who has some Industry exposure. The ideal candidate will have experience within the audit function of a large public practice, advisory exposure is desirable. This role will provide excellent Financial Accounting Advisory experience to the successful candidate as they develop their knowledge working within this specialist team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Advise MNC's and large PLC's on the best accounting practices

• Provide expert advice on streamlining your client's finance function and make it more efficient

• Liaise with M&A, Treasury and Internal Audit teams on high profile projects

• Provide Financial Reporting and Budgeting & Forecasting advisory services

• Provide technical accounting advice as required

• Work closely with the Directors and Partners of this team 

• Manage different deliverables simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met;

• Provide technical accounting and regulatory advice to clients

• Assist clients in the implementation of new accounting standards

• Build relationships with clients and ensure the highest standard of service is provided

• Assist clients with finance transformation project

• Carry out financial analysis on regulatory and accounting policies

• Research information on technical accounting standards and provide reports to clients on findings

The Ideal Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA qualified

• 2+ years PQE

• Practice trained in audit or Industry experience in financial reporting

• Experience in Financial Advisory a distinct advantage

• Very strong technical accounting skills

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to manage several projects/task at once
