Phoenix Search has partnered with a top tier investment bank looking for an IT Auditor - Operations Technology.
Your key responsibilities:
- Undertake audit assignments, drafts audit findings for review by the Lead Auditor and the Principal Audit Manager, facilitates issue tracking and validates them to closure
- Execute audit fieldwork in line with the agreed audit approach and budgets
- Communicate openly with divisional management and the internal stakeholders; keep them informed of potential issues and escalate problems/delays accordingly
Your skills and experience:
- An understanding or experience of IT auditing (e.g., audits of automated business controls and of the implementation of new systems) and experience with audits of IT general controls
- Experience of risk based auditing and clear understanding of the relationship between IT risk and underlying business risk
- Exposure to Corporate and Investment Banking products and processes
- Educated to bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience, ideally
- in IT or a related discipline, coupled with an associated professional certification (preferred)
