Due to an upcoming maternity leave they are now looking for a Head of Risk and Compliance on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the firm this role will give you excellent exposure to senior management and oversight of the entire business operations and play a crucial role in managing compliance and risk obligations for the firm
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Oversight of compliance and risk functions
- Management of compliance monitoring and risk assessment processes
- Collaboration with stakeholders on regulatory matters
- Maintenance of regulatory reporting requirements
- Representation in local and group-wide projects
- Development of a robust compliance and risk culture
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in compliance and risk, ideally within a MiFID regulated entity
- Excellent knowledge of CBI regulations and previous PCF role holder experience an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications / Skills:
- Relevant compliance/risk qualifications
- Leadership experience preferred
- Previous experience with PCF-12 and/or PCF-14 desirable
