Head of Policy
We are looking for experts in policy reform to be based in Dubai. Responsible for regulatory policy in all areas. This is a unique opportunity to be a key contributor to the growth of Dubai and to assist with Dubai’s D33 Agenda.
We are considering candidates with a combination of consulting, legal and policy backgrounds. We are looking for individuals who:

Have a sophisticated understanding of policy reform
-
Entrepreneurial/strategic approach with policy recommendations

Monitoring and responding to Emirate and Federal legislation;
-
Researching and analyzing policy issues, drafting policy and bills briefs, memos, reports, and recommendations;
-
Leading preparations for legislative reviews and preparing the divisional Q&A documents;
-
Assist senior management in managing and interpreting political and policy developments and formulating agency strategy;
-
Represent on legislative/interagency calls;
-
Developing responses, and drafting correspondence and external messages on behalf of the firm to external stakeholders and constituents;

Coordinating with outside entities around meetings and events;
-
Preparing briefings and materials

Strong project management;
-
Researching, analyzing, and synthesizing information to internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:

Understanding of the legislative process in the UAE

Experience developing and managing policy portfolio and working with government officials

Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills required

Good with budgets/numbers

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in team environment

Strong project management and time management skills •

Ability to prioritize assignments, handle multiple projects simultaneously to completion, and work under pressure against tight deadlines

Ability to actively listen, synthesize information and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders

Discretion and excellent judgment to handle sensitive and confidential matters
