Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ultimately, lead and assume overall responsibility for the organisation’s Compliance Function. 

  • Advise the organisation on all compliance issues associated with its investment management, portfolio management, and investment advisory activities per relevant legislation and regulation. 

  • Act as the primary point of contact with the Central Bank in a compliance contact and manage that relationship on an ongoing basis.

  • Horizon scan to ensure the organisation remains compliant with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and advise on its impact on the business. Update and train within the organisation, as appropriate. 

  • Ensure compliance with the relevant CBI outsourcing requirements. 

  • Maintain, review, update, and where required develop and implement, new compliance policies and procedures. 

  • Ensure consistent and accurate reports are produced for the relevant Boards.

  • Assist with ad hoc projects and engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders as required. 

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Holds a degree-level qualification. ACOI qualification is advantageous.

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant compliance experience

  • Compliance and/or Risk experience in a MiFID authorised entity is highly advantageous.

  • Prior Central Bank PCF approval is ACOI qualification

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and commercial

  • Tech-savvy
