Phoenix has partnered with a prestigious PLC in Dublin seeking to enhance its Finance Function by adding a fully qualified accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting. Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and provide actionable management insights.
- Coordinate with different departments to gather financial information, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial performance.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls and policies to ensure the integrity of financial reports.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Fully ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related field, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills for complex financial modelling and analysis.
- Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the organisation.
