Phoenix has partnered with a prestigious PLC in Dublin seeking to enhance its Finance Function by adding a fully qualified accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be adept at quickly adapting and thriving within a dynamic environment, with significant opportunities for career advancement. This is a Dublin-based role that offers a flexible hybrid working model.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and provide actionable management insights.
  • Coordinate with different departments to gather financial information, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial performance.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls and policies to ensure the integrity of financial reports.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
  • Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:
  • Fully ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related field, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills for complex financial modelling and analysis.
  • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the organisation.
