Position: Financial Controller
Company: Leading US Multinational
Location: Limerick, Ireland
Reporting To: CFO, with a dotted line to Business Unit Head
Role: Financial Controller

About Us:
Our client is a prestigious US Multinational with a substantial manufacturing and shared services center in Limerick, Ireland. We are seeking a talented Financial Controller to join our dynamic team and help drive our business to new heights.
Key Details:

  • Time Commitment: May include some early morning/evening calls to accommodate time zones.
  • Travel: Occasional travel required to the US, Europe, and Worldwide.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Business Unit Leader to deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely financial information relevant to the business units.
  • Engage extensively with Sales and Operations teams to support business generation activities.
  • Efficiently manage the sales funnel, ensuring that information is regularly updated.
  • Review contracts for terms and conditions, confidentiality, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Design and calculate bonus incentive programs to drive the sales force to achieve business goals.
  • Compile and prepare sales budget targets and associated resource inputs to support growth.
  • Prepare reporting presentations for quarterly management meetings.
  • Exercise financial oversight of large project orders.
  • Provide input on financial aspects of quote requests when necessary.
  • Maintain financial oversight of 3rd party private label vendors located in the EU.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support capital equipment investment decisions, facilitating business unit growth.
  • Offer ad-hoc financial support as required by the management team.


Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 5 years post qualified experience
  • Proficiency in financial software packages
  • High level of computer literacy, especially in Microsoft suite of applications
