Phoenix Search is partnering with a leading tech company based in South Dublin to find a Financial Controller for an initial six-month contract. Our client operates globally and is seeking a candidate with extensive management experience, exceptional communication skills, and a strong background in financial reporting. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Finance team, providing motivation and daily oversight to achieve team goals.
- Support the CFO/CEO with commercial recommendations and strategic business planning.
- Prepare and present Board Reports and monthly/ad hoc reporting for stakeholders.
- Implement robust financial controls, reporting systems, and prudent revenue recognition policies.
- Oversee cash flow management, forecasting, and preparation of statutory accounts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including PAYE, VAT, CSO, and CRO returns.
- Build strong relationships with senior management globally and with external partners.
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with 7+ years of experience, strong analytical, technical, and IT skills.
- Extensive management experience with a hands-on approach, excellent time management, and organisational abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, advanced MS Excel proficiency, and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; capable of independent and team work.
- Experience in the services/software/technology industry.
