Our Client has been growing 25% year over year (organically) and has doubled revenue in 3 years, this is an excellent business. They have a dynamic management team looking for an ambitious accountant to join the company. This role will be an opportunity to test yourself, improve your skillset, and bring value over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Management and Financial accounts including monthly and Statutory accounts

  • Stock valuation, monitoring, and control.

  • Management and supervision of finance & administration team.

  • Monitoring and reporting of costs as required, weekly and monthly.

  • Forecasting and updating of costings and budgets.

  • Ongoing monitoring and reporting against budget and targets.

  • Management of Payables and Receivables.

  • Managing and monitoring tax compliance.

  • Managing and monitoring month-end tasks across finance function including reconciliation of all GL control accounts, Fixed Asset Register, Payroll etc.

  • Plan and co-ordinate staff training and set KPI’s with suitable reviews for all members of finance/administration team

  • Preparation of monthly financial information for Board meetings

Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience.

  • Advanced Excel skills & Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • An excellent communicator can deal effectively with financial and non-financial people

  • Excellent written communication skills, report preparation for senior management up to board level.

  • Takes full ownership of areas of own responsibility

  • Team player with the ability to work on their own initiative.

  • Results-oriented, with the ability to make decisions quickly when necessary and the resilience to challenge/be challenged.

  • Highly analytical, strong attention to detail

The role will be office-based due to the nature of their business.
