Our client is in the software technology business. They are a leader in their sector with over 1bn subscribers worldwide, with award-winning products. They have a requirement for a 12-month Financial Controller, someone with the ability and looking for an exciting challenge.

Looking for an experienced hire with 2+ years experience in a similar role, managing a finance function and staff. Due to the growth, this role will have a high probability of permanency and also has a completion bonus built-in also.

Culturally excellent with the social events including Pizza & drinks Friday, BBQs and lots more. It's a Smaller team and will be a hybrid approach post covid, with the office currently open.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a small finance team and report to the CFO

• Prepare all the financials, month-end and year-end.

• Manage the external audit engagement

• Full ownership of budgeting, insights and analytics

• Review cashflows, projections, and company performance

• Become in-depth with the business model, cross functions, and teams to offer ad hoc support from a financial perspective to add value and achieve ROI.

• Ad hoc Projects (New systems and potential efficiencies)

Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (4+ years PQE)

• Audit experience advantageous

• Knowledge of IFRS Advantageous

• Enthusiastic to learn, challenge yourself and develop

• Strong attention to detail and problem solver

• Self-starter, flexible and hardworking
