An exciting opportunity awaits qualified accountants with a background in the hotel industry. The role available is that of a Financial Controller, responsible for overseeing the finance function within a prestigious 4-star hotel in Manchester.
As the successful candidate, you will ensure efficient finance operations. Your role encompasses maintaining effective controls, upholding high reporting standards, and partnering with General Managers and non-finance departments to provide valuable insights.
- Preparation of budgets and forecasting
- Play a key role in decision making
- Produce monthly management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Ensure all internal financial controls are up to date
- Ensure compliance with payment deadlines, tax regulations and reporting standards
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong end-to-end accounts preparation experience essential
- Hospitality background desirable but not essential
- FMCG/Retail experience desirable but not essential
