​Phoenix is delighted to be working with an Irish tech and consultancy start-up who are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team. As a result of the exponential growth they are undergoing, an opportunity has arisen on the Finance Team for a Tax-trained Accountant to join, utilising their tax knowledge but also building on month end exposure within a newly developed group structure.

Responsibilities

• Management of Group tax compliance (i.e. VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax, etc.);

• Preparation of monthly managements accounts for a number of entities;

• Analysis of monthly performance, advising management on best course of action with each entity of responsibility;

• Presenting to Senior Management on a monthly basis;

• Liaising across a number of departments for annual budgeting & strategic planning;

• Assisting with cashflow & forecasting;

• Assisting with the establishment of new revenue streams, advising the business and senior management on key metrics from a finance perspective;

• Assisting with ad-hoc policy documents as related to finance, and;

• Ad-hoc projects as they arise.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified & CTA qualified / strong tax exposure within practice or industry;

• 0-2 years PQE;

• Exposure to SME auditing advantageous but not necessary;

• Prior M&A exposure advantageous;

• Experience of working in a Big 4 / Top 10 environment preferred, and;

• Must be willing to get involved in all areas of the business.
