Financial Accountant / Senior Financial Accountant

We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant and Senior Financial Accountant to join the growing finance team in Shannon, Co. Clare, on a full-time permanent basis.

Job Purpose

This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a growing team that provides high-quality financial services to clients in the Aviation Leasing Industry. Main Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing analyses for monthly cash reports.
• Creating budgets and forecasts.
• Preparing accounting information for significant leasing entities.
• Compiling and submitting annual accounts and filings.
• Handling client audits and liaising with external auditors.
• Preparing and filing VAT and statutory returns.
• Monitoring client compliance requirements.
• Attending Board meetings.
• Collaborating with junior staff.
• Undertaking special projects as needed.

Qualifications / Experience Required

• ACA/ ACCA Qualified 
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ideally, a background transitioning from practice to industry.
• Audit experience with Aircraft Leasing clients is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using a PC, particularly with strong Excel skills.
• Understanding of IFRS and consolidation accounting principles.
