Phoenix Search has partnered with a renowned and expanding construction company in Dublin. This position demands an expert familiar with accounting principles, finance business partnering, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will support the company's financial strategy, maintain compliance and precision in financial operations, and report directly to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile the general ledger, address discrepancies, and ensure financial data integrity through regular closing processes and quarterly Profit and Loss analysis.
- Work closely with stakeholders for annual planning and projections, delivering insights to aid decision-making within business units.
- Provide detailed data analysis to enhance decision-making processes.
- Collect and provide essential financial reports on-demand, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and forecasts, to support strategic financial decision-making.
- Support the Financial Controller in conducting the annual audit and preparing year-end financial statements.
- Assist with Treasury functions as directed by the Financial Controller.
- Engage in ad hoc projects and support other finance department members as necessary.
- Qualified ACA/ACCA, preference for Big 4 experience.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel.
- High personal integrity, maintaining confidentiality.
