The Company:

Our client, a high growth Aviation Leasing firm based in Dublin City Centre, is seeking an experienced Aviation Finance Director to lead their lease management and function. This is a newly created position and will work closely with Senior Leadership providing advice on global projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Finance, Aviation including managing the day to day operations of the Contract/Lease Management Team and all related outsource providers

  • Manage a portfolio of aircraft and engines, ensuring all contracts are managed efficiently, including invoicing and receivables, letter of credits, insurance renewals and financial reviews

  • Oversee the daily collection effort, working closely with Risk, HOF, CFO and Commercial Departments to execute the strategy for the management of challenging Airline accounts including; the collection of outstanding receivables, preparing and delivering of Notices of Default, customer-facing workouts, among other tasks, all with the aim of protecting the assumed economics throughout the life of the lease;

  • Project manage the capture and integrity of all relevant lease and portfolio lease information into the ACMS system and ensuring adequate controls are in place and performing 

  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, devise plans to implement these changes and execute on them

  • Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly reports utilizing PowerBi, Excel, PowerPoint and other tools to senior management

  • Work cross-functionally with other internal departments and play a key role in deal teams

  • Manage the flow of information in relation to lease documentation to all teams within the aviation organization to ensure it is accurately reflected from an accounting, liability and FP&A perspective

  • Manage and support the professional development (i.e. coaching, training, etc.) team members 

The ideal candidate:

  • ACA/CFA qualified 

  • 8 - 10 years of experience working with Aviation Leasing or Financial Services firms

  • Experience working with a global client base and having regular review meetings with clients

  • Expert with advanced functions of Excel

  • Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects

  • with shifting deadlines

  • Strong relationship building 

  • Exposure to structured debt facilities

  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills
