Position: Enterprise Architect

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid - Office-based in Dublin city centre a couple of days a week)

Overview:
Our client, a Dublin-based company, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join their team immediately. This is a crucial role within the CTO department, responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining key enterprise architecture deliverables and artefacts. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate closely with the Lead Enterprise Architect and Chief Technical Officer to align business and enterprise initiatives with the overall architecture strategy. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in an EA role, at least 5 years' experience in software development/analysis, and proficiency in working with EA tools.

Responsibilities:

Create, update, and maintain key enterprise architecture deliverables and artefacts.
Ensure project compliance with the company's principles and standards.
Establish and foster relationships with key stakeholders in business units to gain a comprehensive understanding of business activities and drivers.
Define, implement, and execute processes for the definition, maintenance, and conformance management of the enterprise architecture.
Provide architectural leadership to resolve inter-program and inter-project issues, ensuring the implementation of best practices.
Promote the enterprise architecture function within the organisation.
Identify enterprise architecture opportunities across the organisation.
Develop and maintain architectural roadmaps.
Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.

Duties:

Collaborate closely with the Lead Enterprise Architect and Chief Technical Officer.
Develop and coordinate Architecture Plans, working closely with PMO Business Analysts to produce as-is and to-be models.
Enhance the existing Enterprise Architecture to align with business objectives.
Maintain the EA Repository and supporting software systems.
Assist the Lead Enterprise Architect in aligning business and enterprise initiatives with the Enterprise Architecture.
Audit and ensure compliance with Enterprise Architecture standards.
Act as an advisor to business stakeholders on EA and information integration strategies.
Promote the adoption of enterprise architecture principles and practices across the organisation.

Required Skill Set:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver presentations and seminars effectively.
Proficient in group session facilitation, capable of leading large group sessions.
Excellent team leadership abilities.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical audiences.
Strong collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with solution architects, business analysts, CTO, CIO, and other CxO colleagues.
Experience with DevOps and DataOps practices.
