The Role:

As the Director of Operations, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the operations department. Responsibilities:

International Expansion:

• Identify opportunities for expansion, particularly in the UK and broader European markets.

• Build and maintain relationships with partners to ensure successful project delivery.

• Conduct market research to inform market entry strategies and regulatory compliance.

Project Management:

• Oversee project lifecycle from consultation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

• Collaborate with senior management and project teams to optimise resource allocation and mitigate risks.

• Monitor project performance metrics and profitability.

Financial Management:

• Manage operations budget effectively to maximise revenue opportunities.

• Develop strategies to reduce installation costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Collaborate with finance team to track key performance indicators and report on operational performance.

Compliance and Sustainability:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

• Implement best practices to enhance sustainability and environmental impact.

• Lead grant application process with clients, ensuring deadlines are met and requirements are fulfilled.

Client Relations:

• Serve as primary contact for key clients, fostering long-term partnerships and understanding their energy needs.

• Identify opportunities for additional services and provide strategic guidance on sustainability initiatives.

• Deliver exceptional service to drive client satisfaction.

Team Development:

• Recruit, mentor, and develop talent within the operations team.

• Provide leadership and professional development opportunities to drive team success.

• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate operational achievements and challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field; MBA preferred.

• Proven experience in operations leadership within renewable energy or related industry.

• Strong project management skills with a track record of successful execution.
