Our Client is a mid-tier Corporate Finance and Advisory firm based in Dublin who are going through a stage of growth due to an uptake in business within Ireland’s SME market.

The ideal candidate is a newly qualified accountant who has either trained with a public accounting practice or within the Financial Services Industry who is looking to develop an exciting career in Corporate Finance.

This role will provide the successful candidate with a range of experience in corporate finance - transactions, M&A, valuations etc

Responsibilities

• Preparation of business plans, financing and restructuring proposals

• Origination and management of M&A and fundraising transactions

• Managing relationships with all stakeholders

• Preparation of information memoranda and financial models for fundraising assignments

• Liaising with potential investors and promoters during due diligence phase of buy and sell-side transactions

• Management of debt restructure and refinance process from start to finish

The Ideal candidate

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA) etc

• Trained within a large accounting practice or Financial Services Industry

• Previous exposure to restructuring, transaction support, due diligence and corporate finance assignments are an advantage but not essential

• Self-Motivator and work of own accord with the ability to meet deadlines

• Commercially focused

• Previous experience managing relationships with business owners and banks
