Our Client:
Our client - a renowned global regulated entity in on-going global growth mode - is seeking to recruit a talented Commercial Lawyer for its existing in-house legal team. 

The Opportunity:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements, including third party service provider agreements, IT contracts and SLA reviews, leases, general terms and conditions, inter-group agreements, terms & conditions. 
  • Advise and provide legal support to the business and senior management on IP/IT and data privacy issues, working with the data privacy officer.
  • Provide legal advice to the Group’s business functions on further relevant legal issues which arise across areas including employment law, competition, real estate (prior experience in these areas helpful but not essential). 
  • Assist and advise on relevant corporate governance issues. 
  • Assist with company secretarial and compliance matters, and maintenance of the Group’s Intellectual Property. 
  • Liaise with senior management as appropriate
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and duties as appropriate. 
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Solicitor- training in a top tier Irish or global firm advantageous
  • 2 - 5 years’ PQE 
  • Prior asset management or regulated sector experience advantageous but not mandatory 
  • Industry experience advantageous but not essential 
  • Proven commercial contracts and agreements experience
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal 
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple functions 
  • Strong team player with strong inter-personal skills but also highly self-motivated.
  • Adopts a commercial, solutions-focused approach
  • Proven ability to successfully prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
