Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in onboarding new clients, including coordinating legal entity incorporation.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding the client portfolio.
  • Conduct commercial review of client agreements and determine appropriate accounting.
  • Review ongoing servicing activities, including management accounts, financial statements, tax returns, and VAT returns.
  • Perform financial accounting duties such as reconciling accounts, preparing accounting journals, management accounts, and statutory financial statements.
  • Oversee inventory management, fixed asset register, debtors and creditors ledger, and payroll administration.
  • Maintain internal control of client accounting processes, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement changes.
  • Attend client board meetings and AGMs as required, present financial results, and file financial statements with regulatory authorities.
  • Liaise with internal company secretary, compliance department, and clients for corporate filings and compliance with Irish law and contractual obligations.
  • Foster strong relationships with third parties, including revenue authorities, registration offices, auditors, tax advisors, legal advisors, and banks.
  • Coordinate the preparation and filing of regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Ireland.
  • Manage the annual audit process and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assess client profitability and ensure clients are billed according to agreed terms.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years PQE in corporate services industry or practice
  • Aviation industry exposure is a significant advantage
  • Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Accountant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management, organisational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collectively to meet deadlines
