Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in onboarding new clients, including coordinating legal entity incorporation.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding the client portfolio.
- Conduct commercial review of client agreements and determine appropriate accounting.
- Review ongoing servicing activities, including management accounts, financial statements, tax returns, and VAT returns.
- Perform financial accounting duties such as reconciling accounts, preparing accounting journals, management accounts, and statutory financial statements.
- Oversee inventory management, fixed asset register, debtors and creditors ledger, and payroll administration.
- Maintain internal control of client accounting processes, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement changes.
- Attend client board meetings and AGMs as required, present financial results, and file financial statements with regulatory authorities.
- Liaise with internal company secretary, compliance department, and clients for corporate filings and compliance with Irish law and contractual obligations.
- Foster strong relationships with third parties, including revenue authorities, registration offices, auditors, tax advisors, legal advisors, and banks.
- Coordinate the preparation and filing of regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Ireland.
- Manage the annual audit process and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assess client profitability and ensure clients are billed according to agreed terms.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 years PQE in corporate services industry or practice
- Aviation industry exposure is a significant advantage
- Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Accountant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management, organisational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and collectively to meet deadlines
