Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Advise a range of domestic and international financial institutions, non-bank lenders, asset managers, investment funds, corporates, governments and family offices on all aspects of domestic and international bank finance. 
  • This includes real estate and development finance, acquisition and bid finance, structured finance, syndicated lending, funds lending, and asset based lending. 
  • Advise vendors, purchasers, and financiers on distressed and non-performing loan portfolios and on various restructuring, workout, and refinancing scenarios.
  • Advise on general transactional banking matters including secured and unsecured lending work, syndicated and bilateral loan agreements, and asset finance.
  • Advise and assist with complex multi-source project finance transactions where debt is provided by combinations of international development finance institutions, export credit agencies, banks, infrastructure debt funds, other institutional lenders and public sector entities.
  • Assist and participate in relevant wider firm projects as required. 
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Solicitor. Minimum 2 years' PQE 
  • Top Tier commercial law firm or London City law firm experience required
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Analytical, with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven client relationship management skills 
  • Driven, dynamic, adaptable
