Phoenix has collaborated with a prominent Corporate Services provider and is seeking an Audit Manager to join the current team. The role involves overseeing statutory audits for companies with a primary focus on the technology and retail industries, which are primarily international in scope.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a team of both qualified and part-qualified accountants to provide clients with assurance and peace of mind.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with clients and the audit team to ensure the timely delivery of audit work;
  • Developing relationships with existing clients, potential clients, and colleagues in the Vistra network;
  • Providing guidance and support to junior team members, and helping them grow professionally;
  • Supporting the Vistra Ireland commercial team on proposals, new opportunities, and potential prospects;
  • Facilitating the on boarding process for new clients;
  • Participating in the budgeting and monthly billing processes, and monitoring the financial performance and contribution of the audit team to the organisation;
  • Keeping abreast of technical and regulatory changes in the accounting and audit industries;
  • Leading the internal annual compliance review process and managing any queries or visits from Professional Standards;
  • Work alongside the management team and directors across the business, and will be encouraged to expand their technical expertise by participating in regular CPD and audit-specific qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Full ACA/ACCA or equivalent international qualification with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience;
  • An organised individual with strong commercial acumen and a curious mindset;
  • A team player with leadership skills who can motivate the team to provide exceptional client service;
  • Able to work independently on multiple projects and meet deadlines;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Exposure to a variety of corporate sectors, such as technology, financial intermediaries, retail, and wholesale, would be advantageous;
  • Track record of successfully resolving complex audit issues is beneficial.
