Phoenix is pleased to be partnered with a renowned corporate services provider to assist in the recruitment of an Audit Assistant Manager. The selected candidate will lead a small team, offering audit and financial statement services to a variety of high-quality technology and fin-tech clients. Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high quality audits;
  • Develop and keep strong relationships with a varied client portfolio;
  • Working to deadlines and within budgets on each assignment;
  • Provide clients with high-quality expert support;
  • Couching and mentoring junior members;
  • Performing of audits and completion of financial statements;
  • Preparation of Working Papers & Financial Statements in compliance with Relevant Procedures & Standards;
  • Conduct audits for a diverse variety of clients in compliance with auditing principles;
  • Analyse all issues on projects to come up with a solution or proposal.

Requirements:

  • Fully Qualified in ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent
  • 4+ years audit experience within practice
  • Technical expertise in auditing and financial reporting standards;
  • Ability to perform under pressure to fulfil business deadlines;
  • Strong IT competence, including audit and accounting software program knowledge;
  • Advanced computer abilities, ideally in Surf Accounts Production/Relate Accounts Production or another comparable kind financial statement application, Excel and Word.
  • Extensive experience with consolidations and group audits is advantageous
  • Self-starter with the ability to critically analyse and evaluate information
  • Multitasking and workload prioritisation skills
