We have been engaged by a specialist Forensic Investigations team as they look for an experienced candidate to join them in their Dublin office. This team offer litigation support, forensic accounting and investigation services to their range of clients.

The Opportunity

Our client is looking to hire an experienced Forensic Accountant who has been practice trained and has experience with investigations, report writing and has knowledge of the Irish legal system. This role has become available due to an internal promotion.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex cases

• Carry out investigations and critically example financial information obtained

• Write reports detailing all conclusions, proposals and recommendations of your investigations

• Work closely with clients throughout and ensure you keep relationships strong

• Develop plans to progress cases to completion

• Investigate alleged misconduct and develop solutions internally for clients to lower the chances of further misconduct

The Ideal Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA qualified

• Forensic Accounting and investigation experience essential

• Strong knowledge of the Irish Legal System

• Previous practice experience desired

• Results-focused mindset and ability to work under pressure

• Strong attention to detail

• Certificate in relevant area ie fraud investigation, forensic accounting etc
