As Managing Partner, Ruth is responsible for Phoenix’s strategic vision and continued growth. She is also a Big 5 trained Solicitor and responsible for Phoenix’s Legal and Compliance recruitment service offering.
This includes legal (qualified fee-earner & legal support) and compliance roles in both practice and industry. Having graduated with 1.1. B.Corp Law and LLB degrees from NUIG, Ruth spent over eight years training and practicing as a Funds Lawyer in two of Ireland’s top corporate law firms - A&L Goodbody and Maples and Calder.
Following a career change into recruitment in 2014, Ruth gained experience in both large international and boutique recruitment agencies. She quickly developed a reputation as a high-performing, professional recruiter. Ruth is passionate about recruitment and firmly believes that recruitment can, and should, be delivered like any other professional service - i.e. in a consultative, professional and solutions-focused manner.
