​The Client:

A leading international investment bank is looking to hire a Senior Operational Risk Specialist to join their growing risk team and assist in the development of the risk framework.

Located in Dublin, the role will offer a highly agile and flexible approach for candidates

The Opportunity: 

• Work alongside the Senior Leadership team, helping to execute the Operational Risk plan for the business

• Highly agile approach to work - very flexible in terms of location and back to work vs work from home 

• Directly support the CRO in maintaining the Risk function

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Support the CRO on all Operational Risk issues

• Provide Op Risk reporting and analysis

• Development and implementation of OP risk mitigation plans

• Support Senior Stakeholders by reviewing and assessing the operational risks associated with new products and initiatives

• Ensure new initiatives remain within the firm’s operational risk tolerance thresholds

• Updating the Operational Risk policy as required

• Oversight of the Risk & Controls process and Risk Assurance programme

• Design and carry out risk training programmes

The Ideal Candidate: 

• 4+ years experience across Operational Risk with strong knowledge of the operational risk protocols

• Strong knowledge of investments/trading strategies

• Excellent attitude - equally able to work alone as in a group setting
