The Client:
A leading global insurance provider is looking to hire a risk & controls analyst to their growing risk division. Alongside the Head of Risk responsible for implementing the internal control and risk framework through planning, coordinating and implementing all risk and control requirements in line with current and upcoming regulations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Constant evaluation and updating of the operating effectiveness of the internal risk and controls processes
- Identify any potential gaps, and subsequent design and implement the appropriate remediation needed
- Present monthly risk and controls updates to the audit committee
- Work closely with TPA's, external auditors and stakeholders
- Drafting and implementing and policies changes as required
- Assisting with the design and implementation of the risk and controls framework
- Liaise with 1st line control functions and stakeholders on key initiatives and projects
- Maintain strong oversight of risk and controls functions
The Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years experience across risk, oversight and monitoring
- Previous insurance experience is ideal, but general financial services experience will be considered
- Previous experience coming from an internal audit styled role would be advantageous - ACCA/ACA qualifications would be a strong advantage
