I'm seeking to add Associates and Vice President with 4+ years of relevant work experience to join my client's Investment Banking team in their London office. The successful candidate should have an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset. This role will collaborate closely with senior bankers on the entire lifecycle of deals, be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of M&A and private placement transactions, client relationship management, and the creation and review of marketing materials and financial models.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the origination and lead day-to-day execution of M&A and private placement transactions; manage key working streams of transactions in a flawless and efficient manner
- Perform valuation analyses using various methodologies including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, trading comparables and transaction comparables
- Preparation of marketing materials and client presentations including but not limited to; pitchbooks and live deal materials, valuation materials, confidential information memorandums, management presentations etc.
- Develop financial and operating models, as well as valuation analysis in Microsoft Excel
- Oversee due diligence process
- Extensive company and industry analyses (trends, M&A, buyer analysis etc.)
- Develop and maintain client relationships through deal execution, pitching, and primary/support coverage
- Supervise, train and mentor a team of Associates and Analysts
- Assist with recruitment of Associates and Analysts
- Collaborate with global offices to support the origination and execution of cross border transactions
Qualifications:
- (VP) 6-10 years of relevant work experience within a Technology/TMT team of an investment bank
- (Associates) 4+ years of relevant work experience within a Technology/TMT team of an investment bank
- Outstanding analytical, organizational skills and proven self-starter
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgement, make informed decisions and act independently
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to manage rapid timelines and proactively manage any potential conflicts
- Keen interest in the technology sector
