The Opportunity

Our Client, a Renewable Energy developer, is expanding their team in Athlone and are looking to add a VAT Manager to the team, who can manage portfolios of accounts for leading renewable energy funds and Independent Power Producers (IPPs).
In this role, you will gain exposure to Senior Management, both with the Client and their clients and have the opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and offers a competitive package with equity options.
Responsibilities.
Oversee tax and company compliance across on a pan-European basis.
Have in-depth experience of completing VAT and statutory returns in at least 2 of the following 3 countries: Spain, Italy, and Germany. Additional countries are a bonus.
Ideally, understand how construction budgets operate and account for projects in construction.
Produce monthly and quarterly consolidation accounts for leading renewable energy funds and IPPs.
Manage client relationships and ensure they have the information they need when they need it.
Work with the Director of Financial Services to identify pain points, solutions and ultimately drive efficiencies in the Asset Management Team.
Take ownership for standardisation and automation.
Work with the CFO to develop our Clients proprietary Financial Asset Management software.
Qualifications
ACA/ACCA Qualified
CTA preferred but not required
0-4 years PQE
Understands and has experience of consolidation at a practical level
