The Opportunity
Our client, a leading Global Professional Services firm, is looking to add a Director to its Transfer
Pricing practice to deliver tax services to an exciting range of clients across a broad range of
sectors.
This role would have a market leading remuneration package for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
● Manage the execution of transfer pricing projects including documentation,
planning, audit support and tax controversy
● Co-ordinate international engagements with other offices, often in collaboration
with International Tax service partners
● Develop ideas and strategies to advise clients on global business models
● Participate in sector strategy development and execution including across a
number of sectors.
● Identify and propose transfer pricing planning opportunities for clients and target
businesses
● Develop collaborative initiatives with Trade & Customs to support clients navigating
the challenges of Brexit
● Understand and recommend accounting implications for transfer pricing
arrangements
● Communicate relevant developments in Irish, OECD, EU and other international tax
matters to our target market and internal stakeholders
● Liaise within Tax and other departments to deliver strong professional advice to our
clients
● Contribute to marketing communications, events and thought leadership on
transfer pricing and related topics
● Report directly to international tax partners
● Develop and mentor managers and staff on transfer pricing topics and technical
skills
Qualifications
● CTA Qualified
● 8 plus years experience
● Thorough knowledge of Irish transfer pricing legislation, Revenue guidance and
OECD arm’s length standards
● Awareness of foreign transfer pricing regimes is be a bonus (e.g. US, UK, Europe,
etc.)
● Working knowledge of Irish international tax rules and developments, e.g. interest
limitations, anti-hybrid legislation, etc.
● Eager to upskill on technical and industry knowledge
● Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interview business leaders, lead functional
interview conversations
● Experience in managing staff and project teams
● Commercial awareness of client needs
● Strong tax technical skills
● Excellent writing capability to tailor communication for a variety of readers
