The Opportunity
Our client, a Top 10 Firm with offices throughout Ireland is looking to expand its Tax
team at a Senior Leadership level. This role will work closely with the Tax Partners in
serving an existing International client base while also helping develop new business
relationships.
This role will ideally suit someone at Manager/Senior Manager level within a Big 4
Practice dealing with FDI/DIO clients who are looking for a role with a mapped
progression to Partnership within a defined time frame.
Responsibilities
● Responsibility for a portfolio of International Tax clients
● Project management of Irish and cross border projects
● Researching and resolving technical queries from clients
● Liaising with Revenue
● Manage a team of tax professionals
● Monitoring the development of more junior tax professionals and playing an
active role in the performance appraisal process
Qualifications
● ACA/ACCA or CTA qualified;
● Minimum 3-5 years' post qualification experience of working in Corporate
Tax department either in industry or professional services;
● Strong technical knowledge and proven ability to identify opportunities for
clients and grow tax offering;
● Capable of working on your own initiative;
● Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and the team;
● Proven business development skills;
● Strong interpersonal skills are essential together with proven people
development skills to support the development of the more junior staff; and
● Ambitious and want to pursue a career in practice.
