The Role


This group are currently seeking a Tax Manager to join their tax team. The Tax Manager will work closely with the Group Financial Controller to ensure that all tax matters are handled in a timely and accurate manner.


This role will allow you to expand your general financial skills, as a key member of the wider finance team, and will be given the opportunity to perform more general financial tasks, under the guidance of the Group Financial Controller.


Responsibilities


  • You will be responsible for compliance and advisory matters relating to tax and you will prepare and file tax returns in relation to the company's corporation tax.

  • You will be preparing and reviewing tax provisions for quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements.

  • You will be responsible to keep up to date with current tax legal/and regulatory requirements.

  • You will be working closely with the Group Financial Controller to plan and implement tax strategies.

  • You will be responsible to meet with internal stakeholders regularly to review and improve processes.


Requirements


  • Accounting qualification (ACA) and Tax Advisory qualification (CTA)

  • Strong understanding of Irish tax laws and regulations

  • Relationship management

  • Confidence in working as part of a team, managing direct reports, and dealing with internal and external stakeholders
