Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Report to the head of valuation & present valuation decision proposals in front of the valuation committee
  • Create & design financial models for the calculation of net present values for alternative investments with a focus on asset classes like renewable energy, infrastructure, private equity & property
  • Challenge and validate of external appraisal proposals (cash flow forecasts, construction of risky discount factor, model assumptions)
  • Manage & develop the relationships with clients & external parties (auditors, delegates, service providers, etc.) relating to the Fund's valuation


The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years experience in an asset management or a big4 company, corporate finance, deal- or risk advisory
  • Masters in mathematics, physics, engineering, econometrics
  • Understanding of the accounting and regulatory environment in Ireland & Luxembourg for asset managers (IFRS, UCITS Law, IPEV guidelines, AIFM Directive)
  • Extensive knowledge of financial derivatives (equity, credit, interest rate, & FX derivatives)
