Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Advise a portfolio of clients worldwide from start-ups to some of the world's best-known brands, on employment legislation, helping them meet their workforce objectives, devise a workable solution, and effectively manage their employment-related legal risk.
Advise on a broad range of high profile and complex issues working collaboratively as part of a genuine global legal team.
Assist promote and develop the firm and the Employment Department as appropriate by way of appropriate networking and business development.
Assist in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers in the team.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent employment experience gained in a leading Irish or international firm
Strong technical knowledge of relevant legislation and case law and a proven ability to stay abreast of relevant updates and advise on impact for clients.
Proven commerciality with an ability to provide and deliver solutions-focused, commercial legal advice.
Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to successfully prioritise and deliver to tight deadlines in a busy environment
Proven interest in marketing and business development
Ability to coach and mentor juniors as required
Strong team player but also self-motivated
