Phoenix have partnered with a leading Irish Tech brand, in the search for a full-time Product Owner.
This is a permanent position, sitting primarily between Technology and Finance, and will be a key player on a range of exciting products and projects.
Main Duties:
- Establish and nurture relationships with teams to facilitate transformation in areas like corporate finance, indirect taxation, direct sales, and external reporting.
- Convert product visions into structured product action items, ranking them based on importance, risk, and service factors.
- Examine crucial tax technology intersections throughout the client's complete business operations.
- Supervise the creation, integration, and adaptation of methodologies into ERP platforms and other tech systems.
- Partner with essential team stakeholders and external collaborators to meet story acceptance benchmarks and aid in release and sprint organizing.
- Spot patterns within customer and product divisions for potential new offerings or refinements to current ones.
- Stay updated on technological advancements that could enhance or reinvent product and user experience.
- Boost our tech revolution by actively enlightening peers in tech and the broader client organization about agile techniques and product leadership standards.
- Foster a culture prioritizing customer-centric development.
- Advocate for teamwork and unity among Product Owner colleagues.
Qualifications & Background Needed:
- Minimum 5 years as a Product Owner in a dynamic, high-intensity setting.
- Familiarity with corporate, indirect, sales, and use tax, as well as external reporting and their implications on the financial framework.
- Relevant experience in a global retail or technology environment.
- A suitable degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A recognized certification in Agile Product Ownership, Scaled Agile, or similar is an advantage.
