The Opportunity:

  • Work as part of the global executive team focusing on critical projects across IT, Finance and M&A

  • The team is responsible for governance and execution support over the company’s most strategic, business-critical initiatives

  • The position will also directly interact with the business leaders responsible for sponsorship and execution of the programs.

  • Reporting to the Global CTO, this individual will also interact regularly with the CEO, COO and other global executives

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Programs will include all major business projects in the company from M&A execution, business process transformations to complex technology initiatives. 

  • The primary intent of this role it to make sure teams that are stood up around this non-standard work are given robust delivery support to ensure execution is effective and the intended benefits are realized

  • Engages senior leadership and business partners to define the PMO mission, goals and operating model, and releases this after senior management approval, in the form of the PMO charter.

  • Leads the identification and development of PMO roles, team configuration and recruitment appropriate to deliver the agreed-upon PMO goals and objectives.

  • Leads the identification and implementation of project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines and standards in order to establish a stable framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders to improve the probability of successful project delivery.

  • Facilitates the agreed-upon process that develops plans and prioritization by leadership and governance.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in appropriate technical or business field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Functional domain experience relative to transformational projects in Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Intelligence and/or data analytics in an automotive, industrials or electronics industry setting. 

  • 15+ years of experience in business/industry.

  • 5+ years of leadership responsibilities.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams.
