The Team

Their clients range from private individuals, developers and property companies to life and insurance companies, large corporates and public bodies, based both in the UK and internationally.

They sell themselves to their clients as offering a partner-led service, and so their associates learn and develop through working closely with a senior member of the team.

The Role

The individual will be required to carry out a broad range of good quality work. Key duties will include:

• investment (acquisitions and disposals);
• leasing;
• development;
• real estate joint ventures and funds;
• forward sale/forward funding;
• real estate finance (real estate support to the banking and finance group);
• corporate real estate (e.g indirect acquisitions in a corporate wrapper); and
• corporate support (due diligence, warranties, certificates of title).

The Candidate

The firm want to add only lawyers of the highest quality to their team. They need to have strong academics and be confident, willing to take on responsibility (as client contact is encouraged) and wish to further their expertise and career through a combination of formal training and education, partner and peer support and working for clients. The candidate needs a strong instinct for the high levels of client service expected by our clients.

The right candidate will possess good experience in UK domestic real estate work from their training contract. They need to be technically able, with an easy familiarity with property law commensurate with their experience and will be a proactive and resilient problem solver.
