A dynamic Investment Funds Provider and Management Company which is part of global investment funds provider group.
My client is expanding it's Dublin-city based in house legal team due to ongoing growth and success.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review of relevant Fund legal documentation including prospectus, supplements, KIIDs and agreements for new fund approval or amendments to existing funds
- Liaise with the Central Bank, and the funds under management's appointed legal counsel, on issues including new fund approval, amendments to funds, regulatory updates etc.
- Liaise with the Central Bank in relation to relevant filings.
- Draft, review and negotiate fund contracts e.g. investment management, distribution, administration and depositary agreements.
- Work and coordinate projects with the wider Group legal function, and global marketing and BD teams as appropriate e.g. new fund launches and group initiatives.
- Manage the foreign registration process for marketing in other jurisdictions with the relevant registration agent.
- Assist and oversee the organisation's relevant duties and obligations per the relevant Fund and ManCo documents regarding designated persons.
- Prepare documentation for monthly and quarterly board meetings.
- Liaise with compliance colleagues as appropriate to ensure all compliance obligations are satisfied.
- Attend and represent the organisation at relevant conferences and industry events.
- Participate in ad-hoc regulatory and business projects
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified solicitor. 1-3 years PQE with Asset Management/Investment Funds experience from in-house (eg Investment Manager, Management Company, Administrator, Custodian, other relevant Funds Services company), or from a commercial law firm environment.
- Management Company experience useful but not mandatory.
- Excellent funds legal and regulatory technical knowledge
- Experience of the Central Bank's requirements and liaising with same.
- Experience presenting to senior management & board of director level.
- Strong client relationship management and development skills
- Experience / appetite to attend relevant industry networking events.
- Self-motivated with the ability to exercise autonomy when required.
