The Opportunity:

  • Unique newly created opportunity for a Corporate Finance Advisory professional who is looking to join a private equity fund and work alongside some of the leading figures with a proven track record within Ireland's private equity market.

  • Expand your experience from advisory into the direct investment space providing analytical and research support for potential transactions and actively participate in and manage due diligence efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall analytical and research support, including financial modelling.

  • Support the evaluation and execution of potential transactions.

  • Participate in the determination of appropriate valuations, structuring and the negotiation of potential transactions.

  • Manage certain due diligence workstreams on potential transactions.

  • Support the debt financing of potential transactions.

  • Prepare memos and recommendations for the investment committee.

  • Help to oversee our investment portfolio and work with management at our portfolio companies.

  • Assist with the process of exiting our investments.

  • Work on quarterly reporting to investors.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic record (minimum 2:1).

  • 2 - 4 years investing, corporate finance or financial due diligence experience.

  • Experience in managing/supporting deal processes and has live deal experience (e.g. auction sell-side or buy-side) is preferable, but not a requirement.

  • Strong modelling and analytical skills required.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.

  • Self-starter; has confidence in asking questions and ability to work independently in a fast-paced but collegiate environment.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.
