Phoenix Search have partnered with a top tier investment bank looking for a strong Internal Audit VP to join their global team in London.

You will report into the Director of the team and help drive enhanced audit coverage of Market Risk globally.

Key responsibilities:

· Responsible for coordinating complex and global audits or other assurance such as finding closure validation, over market and counterparty credit risk, evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to risks

· Working in a co-operative manner with subject matter experts and other teams to provide 'front-to-back' audit coverage; Working closely with the US Market Risk audit team and Global Model Risk team

Skills and experience:

· Subject matter expertise relating to financial risk management and related regulatory requirements, processes, risks and controls; as well as audit experience

· Academic or professional qualifications related to financial risk are beneficial
