We're seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to become the Designated Person responsible for Regulatory Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for our client, an Irish-domiciled International Management Company. In this multifaceted role, you'll provide expert advice and oversee compliance across the Management Company and the funds it manages. Daily Impact: Seize the opportunity to make a tangible difference within the company every single day.

As the DP Regulatory Compliance and MLRO, you'll be at the helm of critical responsibilities:

  • Craft Compliance Frameworks: Develop and maintain robust policies, procedures, and internal systems in alignment with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strategic Oversight: Manage compliance monitoring and testing programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Empower through Training: Implement and oversee compliance training initiatives, empowering our workforce with the latest insights.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Serve as a focal point for communication with the Central Bank of Ireland, fostering strong regulatory relationships.
  • Policy Crafting: Review, draft, and implement compliance policies and procedures, staying ahead of regulatory shifts.
  • Regulatory Analysis: Analyse regulatory changes and initiatives, providing insightful advice to the Management Company.
  • Lead Compliance Projects: Spearhead compliance-focused projects, leveraging your expertise to achieve regulatory milestones.
  • Collaboration Champion: Coordinate compliance efforts with global teams, enhancing processes and controls.
  • Holistic Oversight: Collaborate with other Designated Persons and oversee regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance.
  • Executive Reporting: Present to the Management Company Board, Committee Meetings, and Fund Board Meetings.
  • Anti-Money Laundering Expertise: Act as the MLRO, ensuring compliance with AML requirements for our clients.

The ideal candidate possesses the following attributes:

  • Regulatory Savvy: Demonstrated experience with UCITS and AIFMD regulations, and familiarity with Central Bank of Ireland interactions.
  • Senior-Level Experience: Proven track record in senior Compliance roles, ideally within asset management or funds.
  • Global Perspective: Experience in global organisations, adept at coordinating and leveraging global compliance processes.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Effective teamwork across local and global units, fostering strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Critical Thinker: Proficiency in critical thinking and judgement, evident through meticulous monitoring and review skills.
  • Communication Pro: Strong written communication and drafting skills, enabling effective information dissemination.
  • Organisational Agility: Excellent organisational skills, empowering you to prioritise effectively.
  • Detail-Oriented: Impeccable attention to detail, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

What's On Offer:

  • Embrace Work-Life Balance: Full-time employment with flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.
  • Rewards and Benefits: Annual bonus, pension scheme, comprehensive health coverage.
  • Invest in Your Growth: Access educational assistance and professional development programs.
